Dr Ekta Sharma
Consultant Adult Psychiatrist
Dr Sharma is a general adult consultant psychiatrist, who believes in patient centred care. She is passionate about taking a holistic approach in managing patients with mental health disorders.
Dr Sharma has been a consultant since 2015 and has expertise in assessing and managing a variety of mental health disorders. She has worked in the NHS since 2004 and is currently employed as a consultant psychiatrist in one of the NHS Trust.
Qualifications & Training
- Adult ADHD and Autism: Attended UKAAN/Mind Matters courses enabling skilled assessment and management of adult ADHD.
- Menopause and mental health: Training programmes in the management of women's mental health.
- British Association of Psychopharmacology masterclasses: Anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, addictions, sleep disorders, insomnia and ADHD.
